A brand new Chinese language drone, the TJ-FlyingFish, is gaining consideration because it seems like one thing straight out of a Hollywood film. It’s a transformer robotic able to autonomously navigating underwater as an uncrewed underwater automobile (UUV) and flying within the air as a quadcopter. The drone was developed by a staff of scientists from China’s Shanghai Analysis Institute for Clever Autonomous Methods, Tongji College, and the Unmanned Methods Analysis Group on the Chinese language College of Hong Kong. It weighs 3.6 kilos, can hover within the air for six minutes and journey underwater at 6.5 toes per second. Some missions for the know-how may embody taking aerial and aquatic surveys, distant sensing, and search-and-rescue operations. The know-how was developed by China’s Shanghai Analysis Institute for Clever Autonomous Methods, Tongji College, and the Unmanned Methods Analysis Group on the Chinese language College of Hong Kong. Professor Ben Chen from the Chinese language College of Hong Kong and his colleagues might be presenting a paper on their analysis on the drone on the 2023 IEEE Worldwide Convention on Robotics and Automation in London this Might.
